Today we headed to Dollar Mountain for Davis's first day on skis!
(Poor Lucy was sick and unable to ski... but by 5pm she was much better and enjoyed a great night!)
They started Davis out on the less than bunny hill... not sure what you call it.
But he was quickly bored so we pulled him from class and hit the magic carpet...
and by the end of the day was doing turns around the cones!
We also went on the chair lift which he loved!
But he really wasn't ready to be on the big slope. He is a little speed demon and would get mad at me when I would slow him down. I tried to explain to him that he has to be able to stop if he wants to go fast. Mr. Jackson took him on a few runs... and on the "rollercoaster" where he did jumps. oh no - we are in trouble! Finally we made it back to the magic carpet so we could practice slowing down and stopping.
All in all - a SUPER AWESOME first day!
